The King Of Fighters '99 [SNK] DOR 23 March 2000

- There are many hidden things available in this installment of this KOF series.
- Lots of hidden drawings not used anywhere before, a total of 250 pictures could be arrived from here.
- the new mode being added into this installment was the striker mode. as the previous game setting, you can use up to 3 characters, but now, with the 4th character, you can use it to "strike" your opponents with a limited chance.
- All the arcade characters could be selected including, Original Kyo and Iori.
- You can use Krizalid as well.(see this month's Trick section)
- This game over all is a better translation than the previous one, KOF'98. The loading time was much faster now.
- A new option available is to edit your character color and able to save it and use it during game play. (not a bad idea!)

Jet De Go (Let's Go By Airline) [TAITO] DOR 03 Febuary 2000

- Simillar to Densha De Go (Let's Go By Train), But now you control the plane.
- Endosed by JAL (Japan Airline).
- You will have to learn how to take off a plane and at the same time, learn how to land.
- There is also a cruise mode in which you will "FLY" a "REAL" plane.
- Try not to go off course of the game will end.
- PocketStation competable. The mini game is about an air hostress. You will have to attend to the passangers when they call for you. if you dont go there in time, the game is over.

Vagrant Story ベイグラント ストーリー [SQUARE] DOR 10 Febuary 2000

- This is an advanture role playing game (A-RPG)
- You will play as Ashley Riot, The Risk Walker , in the medievil era.
- This game is ccreated by the creators of Final Fantasy Tatics.
- There is alot of maze, monsters of different type and hundreds of puzzles in this game to keep you going.
- Basically, each item leads to another clue in the game.
- The fighting scenes made the game adventure, but with the need to talk to other NCP to get hints to carry on the game, it bacame RPG, and hence, the result of this chemistry, A-RPG.
- Repeat use of weapons or magicil skills will results in more skills learned when you combine them to use together.
- With all the qualities above, mage the game truely enjoyable and fun.

Chase The Express チェイス・ザ・エクスプレス [SCEI] DOR 27 January 2000

- SCEI's attempt to beat KONAMI Entertaiment's Metal Gear Solid.
- With 2 CDs, This game aims to behaves much like MGS and the movie made popular by Steven Segal "Under Seige 2".
- Story takes place in Russia and you play as agent to protect the ambassador. All your crew are killed by terrorists "Night Of The Apocalypse".
- Your task is to prevent a nuclear attack.
- There are multiple endings in this game, try to see if you can get all the endings.
- This game is much intended for matured players.

Legend Of Dragoon [SCEI] DOR 02 December 99

- Possible the biggest RPG before the end of the year by SCEI.
- Total of 4 CDs and good CGs through out the game, something like Final Fantasy 8.
- The story is about lifeforms born from a "God-Tree". A total of 108 Lifeforms are born.
- You will play as Dart in search for a creature called Black Demon who killed your parents. 5 years later, you returned home "Sellus" and found that it was demolished by the evil Sandra Empire, and your best friend is kidnapped, you will then journey to save you friend.
- The battle mode is somehow the same like FF8, with the special "Limit Breaks". This is where you are suppose to look at the screen to input a combinations of 0 and X.
- The other special you can use is Dragoon Power. You will need Spritiual Powers(SP) to change in to Dragoon. The are made up of it's own elemental force, like, Wind, Fire, Water, etc.
- This came comes with a special T-shirt at this moment and it is strictly limited edition.

PAC-MAN World 20th Anniversary パックマンワールド 20thアニバーサリー [NAMCO (株)ナムコ] DOR 02 November 99

- It has been 20 long years since the release of the original Pac-man series from NAMCO.
- This time, NAMCO re-created Pac-man worlds into a 3D maze puzzle game.
- The story begins now with Pacman celebrates his 20th birthday, all his family member was on their way to prepair this big birthday bash for him but all was abducted by the evil guys, Ghosts. Pac-man arrive home and found no one to greet him, but instead, the back wall of his kitchen is smashed up with a big hole. Pac-man swore to get his family back together again.
- There are various game mode available, they are namely :-* Story, * Maze and *Original.
- In the "Original Mode", you will play the original Pacman game.
- In the "Maze Mode", there will be 6 different zones with 3 stages to clear in each location.
- In the "Story Mode", you will have to rescue the family back.
- Also in the "Story Mode", there will be small mini games available, for example, you will be needed to pickup the letters, P,A,C,M,A,N. and you will be ported to a bonus level to collect those small yellow spheres in which you can use it to kill the Ghost. The more you collect, the more points you will get.
- Remember the cherry in which you get for points in the Origianl Pac-man game? Now at the end of the level, you can use it in the jackpot to earn more points.(Something like Pachinco)
- And remember the word you created, PAC-MAN? You will be awarded another bonus game, to pickup more items to be added into the jackpot.
- It is due to all this various different playmode and it's 3D feel in the game that makes it exciting, this is definately the game of this month for November.

Gran Turismo 2 グランツーリスモ２ [SCEI] DOR 1999 November,25 (DELAYED)

- The other game of this month has got to be GT2, Gran Turismo 2.
- This is a long awaited sequel to it's original, GT game released by SCEI.
- There are more than 500 cars to choose from now. Among some of those cars, you will find :-
"Mini Cooper 1.3i", "Peugeot206RC", "Impressa WRX-RC", "Mazda RX-7", "Alfa Romio Alfa 156", "Mobil NSX", ARTA R34 GT-4", "STP Taisan Viper", "Pennzoil Nismo GT-R" and "Raybring NSX"
- There will be 5 different licences to accquire now instead of the common 3 from the original GT, now there are 5. they are namely:- "A Licence", "A International Licence", "B Licence", "B International Licence" and "C International Licence".
- It is also said that if you use you save game data from GT, you can "Upgrade" the licences to the new one, so you don'have to play the first 3 licences all over again, but this is not a proven fact yet.
- New race tracks are also created for GT2. they are namely :-
* Special Stage R5
* Autumn Ring
* Autumn Ring Mini
* Grand Valley East Section
* Grand Valley Speedway
* Deep Forest Raceway
* Tahitian Dirt Route 3
* Mid Field Raceway

- As for game mode, there are the normal 3, Eazy, Normal and Hard.
- As for game Selection screen, you will get to see Road Race, Dirt Trial, Time Attack and Option. Of all, Dirt Trial is new in the game.

ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 JOJO's Venture [(株)カプコン CAPCOM] DOR 14 Oct 99

- OK... now, Who says Capcom cannot deliver other fighing games other than the Street Fighter series ?
- This game has retained the quality of what the arcade version have but with more bonus than you can ever imagine!
- The story is taken from the 3rd season of the famous JUMP Weekly Comics in JAPAN which featured a guardian spirit "Stand".
- There are a total 22 characters to choose from (16 human form, 1 bird, 1 dog and 4 hidden).
- There are 5 different playmode available on the PS Version, they are -
* Arcade Mode
* Super Story Mode
* Versus Mode
* Training Mode
* JOJO POKE (needs PocketStation)
- In the Super Story Mode, you will have to play through all the 35 chapters of the story. There will be several mini games for you to collect as well. After collecting the mini games, you will be able to access them when ever you want to.
- There are more than 8 Mini Games to choose from after you complete the Soper Story Mode.

Goo! Goo! SOUNDY [KONAMI] DOR 22 Sept 99

Hmmm..... another KONAMI game, Doesn't this strike a bell to you?
- Yes, they are the creator for Beatmaina, Popn' Music and Dance Dance Revolution series.
- This time, KONAMI is making waves again in music games. you can call it a Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) clone but it is more than that.
- Using the same trick whick KONAMI has used before in Dance Dance Dance, you can play Goo! Goo! SOUNDY (GGS) with any audio cd that you have in mind. That means, you can play to anything from Classical, Jazz, Canto-pop, J-pop, Heavy metal, anything. When you plug in your DDR mat in the controller port in the "Play The Beats" mode, it can be played just like the normal DDR game itself! Only that this time it is original. And each time, the steps will be different. So DDR Dancers, test your skills with this game. No two game will be played the same as the stepts will be generated random each time.
- In this game, you will start off with a baby angel in which you can go to different training grounds to "train". There are at least 12 different morphs possible, and more than 40 different combo that you can earn, so that your character can show off when you challenge with the opponents in the game. Those combo you earned will also be added into the "dance combo" if you decided to just watch your character dance.
- In the "Judge Mode", you can once again battle with the game to earn more goodies.
- Over all, GGS fever has just started, and soon GGS will be your own personal game, and as for me, you will most likely to hear Utada's Automatic most of the time.. ^-^

ビートマニア APPEND 4thMIX - the beat goes on - [KONAMI] DOR 09 Sept 99

Beatmania 4thMix is a complete arcade translation and more !
- There is basically 2 different play mode using the same disk. The normal 4th mix, or the Bonus Edit Mix.
- To get the normal 4th mix, simply start the game with normal 2nd mix game disk, go to disk change and put in the 4th mix disk to get 4th mix.
- To get "Bonus Edit", start the game with 2nd mix, disk change to 3rd mix, or Gotta Mix, then disk change again into 4th mix.
- Disk change from Yesbi mix and 3rd mix mini will still get you into the normal 4th mix.
- Basically this game have the same playing style as normal BM games but now, more skills are needed as the levels are higher now. Expect more that 20 new songs in this mix and 9 more in the "Bonus Edit".
